Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Kodam IX/Udayana Holds Commemoration Ceremony of the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence

DENPASAR, STIGMA.CO.ID – In commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day, the Military Commander (Pangdam) IX/Udayana Major General Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., attended the Commemoration Ceremony of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia led by the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster, at Puputan Margarana Field, Niti Mandala Renon, Denpasar, on Thursday (17/8/2023).

At the same time, Kasdam IX/Udayana Brigadier General Sachono, S.H., M.Sc., M.Tr.(Han) also led the implementation of the Commemoration Ceremony of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic Indonesia which was held by Kodam IX/Udayana in the Field I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Kepaon, South Denpasar, attended by officers, non-commissioned officers, enlisted men and civil servants from the Military Command IX/Udayana.

In the mandate of the Commander of the TNI, Admiral TNI Yudo Margono, S.E., M.M., which was read out by the Kasdam as the Inspector of Ceremonies, said that the Commemoration of the Independence Day like this was essentially a form of respect as well as appreciation to the fighters who had given everything beyond what was supposed to be given.

“Therefore, as the next generation, the noblest form of respect and appreciation, what we must give is to inherit the traditions and values of the struggle and continue them to fill independence,” said the TNI Commander.

He further stated that after 78 years of Indonesia’s independence, now it is the duty of all of us to fulfill independence. The TNI must be the glue that binds national diversity, because the TNI is at the forefront of maintaining harmony, tolerance and diversity, so that the Indonesian nation remains a whole, strong and resilient nation.

“Let’s make this commemoration of Indonesian independence a new milestone to build a fresher commitment by cultivating the character and noble values of the nation. Because whatever the roles and tasks that soldiers and civil servants of the TNI perform, we are in one unity and command of the TNI,” said Admiral TNI Yudo Margono, S.E., M.M.

The enthusiasm, dedication, loyalty and militancy that the soldiers and civil servants of the TNI have shown so far have brought the TNI institution back to the best rank in the ranks of state institutions as the institution most trusted by the people.

“Finally, let us always pray, may God Almighty, always provide guidance, guidance and strength to all of us, in continuing our duties and service to the nation and state of Indonesia, which we all love very much. Long live the Republic of Indonesia,” concluded The TNI Commander at the end of his address.

Even though it was colored with raindrops that have been pouring down Denpasar City since this morning, it has not diminished the solemnity and enthusiasm of the soldiers and civil servants of the Indonesian National Armed Forces to take part in the commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
