DENPASAR, STIGMA.CO.ID – Within the framework of the working visit agenda in Bali Province from 3 to 6 July 2023, the Secretary General of the National Defense Council (Sekjen Wantannas) Vice Admiral Dadi Hartanto, M.Tr.(Han)., with the entourage visited the Military Command IX/ Udayana was received directly by the Military Commander IX/Udayana, Major General TNI Sonny Aprianto, SE, M.M., at the Military Commander’s Guest Room, Makodam IX/Udayana, Denpasar, on Tuesday (4/7/2023).
The arrival of the Secretary General of Wantannas along with the entourage who was warmly welcomed by the Regional Military Commander IX/Udayana accompanied by the Assistant Intelligence Service Kasdam IX/Udy, the Asops Kasdam IX/Udy and the Aster Kasdam IX/Udy aimed to stay in touch regarding the work agenda of collecting data on the Formulation of National Economic Development Policy in the Province of Bali.
The event began with introductions and continued with the Secretary General of Wantannas conveying a number of agendas for his working visit to the Province of Bali to collect data on the Formulation of National Economic Development Policy with the theme “Accelerating the Economic Transformation of the Province of Bali to Increase Economic Growth in the Context of Maintaining Conducive National Security”.
Apart from that, discussion activities were also held concerning conditions in the Province of Bali at the time of the Covid-19 disaster and after the Covid-19 incident, mainly regarding the condition of tourism which is one of the mainstays of Bali’s economy.
Furthermore, on this occasion, the Military Commander IX/Udayana conveyed a number of quite challenging activity agendas, namely regarding the Covid-19 Vaccination program, FMD issues in animals, and securing the G20 international event that had been implemented.
Regarding the condition of tourism in Bali, the Military Commander explained that the condition of tourism in the Province of Bali is currently starting to stretch or be crowded, both local and international tourist visits.
Furthermore, the Military Commander conveyed about the Kodam IX/Udayana Program in helping people’s welfare. Whereas Kodam IX/Udayana has built 117 Hydram Pump points for communities in Bali, NTB and NTT, this is in an effort to meet the needs of clean water and agricultural needs which aim to support the Food Security Program. This includes securing the distribution of fertilizers by the Babinsa and the Drilling Well Program in areas where it is not possible to build a Hydram Pump.
Responding to the scarcity of Elpiji Gas some time ago, the Military Commander said that the Regional Military Command IX/Udayana had arrested a party who carried out an illegal action in the form of mixing 3 Kg Subsidized Elpiji Gas into Non-Subsidized Elpiji Gas and the secured party had been handed over to the Police for further legal proceedings.
